Post subject: Gauging interest on 'Fatty' parts...
PostPosted: Mon Nov 16, 2009 2:44 am
First up, this is the last things that I want to have to do, as having a complete, working machine always seems like the sensible thing, but...

Given the time of year and the lack of interest in a complete machine, my only option might have to be to split the 'Fatty' into a number of 'lots'.

Engine/mounts/main frame/shock/rear wheel would likely be the largest and most useful collection of parts for anyone wanting to build their own modified 'Fatty' scoot'.

This is Mr Wyatt's ol' ride (mine since the Summer)... but it's going to have to find a new home :( T'is a sad day really.

I've still got quite a chunk of parts that're new and not even been fitted up. So, PM if you're interested in bits. If there's enough interest (either in the whole machine or fot the collective parts) then I'll start moving things on.

G

Have you tried ebaying it?

Sounds like a lot of work to part it out.

Yeah, I suppose eBay's going to have to be the logical choice, huh?

It's just a faff with the listings, fees and (normally) lots of questions (e.g. Will you put it on a boat to Nigeria and swap for a used goat)

Seriously interested in the fatty rim/tire/hub + extension set with spacers + oil dip stick + foot pegs

Let me know!

No worries, but I'd recommend taking the rear shock (BMF - modified to fit) and the main frame as well, to ensure that everything lines up properly.

On those parts that's not a worry. I can do postage... At cost (to you).

Y'all just need to make a sensible offer on the parts :wanker:
