Ok not really London but Berks, 07 Zoomer bought last night in Reading with a cheeky offer of cash to a bloke who had it on e-bay. Only done 700 miles in 2 years, one owner and I rode it home - Freezing!!

My confession is that I had not even heard of a Ruckus / Zoomer until Wednesday when I read about this site in the "website of the month" page of a Volkswagen Magazine! Something about them interests me so much I just had to get my hands on one, hence buying one in the depths of winter and riding it home at 9pm from Oxford road in Reading to Bracknell!!!

Got it into the garage and checked her over today including a damn good clean, machine polish of the plastics and the powder coated tubes, she looks flawless now! - Some pics tomorrow when its not slashing down with rain.

Plans are afoot for the mods, will update when I get spending!!!!

Live in Leyton and Zoom into Islington for work every day (Canonbury Business Centre)
Black Zommer 57 Plate, had from new. Only replaced variator and fitted under sheat panels.
Will modify handlebars, low seat frame soon.
Seen a yellow zoomer on New North Road N1 and a customised black zoomer flying down Lea Bridge Road E10, but never been able to keep up with it, well jealous

Just bought my Zoomer (red, stock) today, get it in a couple of weeks

Going to be commuting from West London in to the centre and REALLY looking forward to not having to get the tube.

Had a good read of this forum before making the decision to buy, some useful info on here and some great pics too.

Need to sort out my security, chain etc. so if you have any good advice, let us know.
