I need to upgrade my stock GY6 Carb to something a bit more performance, I need more speed! Anyone got any recommendations for good after market Carbs for the 125 GY6 that are easy to get hold of in UK?

Cheers. Lem

A new carb probably won't make a huge difference tbh, the US 150cc GY6s use the same stock carb as our 125cc GY6s, you'll just need to jet it right.

Variators, Clutch, and Air Filter are probably your best options for gains... oh and maybe a derestricted/race CDI

Thanks Ramashek, I was hoping for a 'silver bullet' solution, but thinking about it you are right, it will need to be a combination of upgrades across all of the areas you mention. I'll make a start on my upgrade list! Any thoughts on where to get the race CDI without shopping stateside?

Cheers. L
