Wow
That's kinda high in price to be honest and I can't see you getting anywhere near
Your asking price
Check eBay uk, there's a few on there, ignore the imports
Good luck tho
:highfive:

Well, the price might sound a bit high, but I have seen others in ebay uk as well going for 3500.
I guess I could put it back to stock and drop the price by 1800 pounds, but then, it wouldn't be the same bike.

Price is always negotiable to a certain extend. In fact, the freaking polini CDI has started playing on me and for that reason alone I am willing to drop the price for any buyer to 2650. 200pounds should be more than enough for anyone to get the Kitaco I-map and swap it. Thanks anyways for having a look.

cheers
;)

Just giving a heads up on my Zoomer Sale.
As I mention above, the polini cdi started playing and in the end I have decided to swap it myself for a Kitaco cdi. Will check everything works fine afterwords and start the sale again with a dropped price....sounds crazy, spending even more money and dropping the price...haven't decided to where but stay tune...and by the way, I listen to offers....but sensible offers.

Cheers guys,
Thanks.

Hi there,
So...I have some news on my Zoomer sale....unfortunate for me I would say, but very good for some one out there.
After removing the Polini CDI, I had trouble to start the bike which led me to think I had some valve problems, so I checked the
valve clearances and sure enough the intake valves were out of spec. Ordered the new shims from Honda Coulsdon and when
I went to put them back in, I made a big mistake by pressing on the valve spring while the rocker arm was off to the side,
so as a result it sprung back on me and the two little sleeves that hold the top of the valve stem and the spring together,
sprung off to the dirty floor of my garage never to be found again. Well, I found one of them but not the other one.
But I don´t exactly know how to fit them back or have the time to do it, as I have another big bike coming soon and need to clear out the space.
So as a result, I have decided to sell the little thing as a non runner.

So here is the deal: The bike stands exactly as in the pictures but without the yoshimura (orignal instead), and with
original suspension front and rear. Also it has now no CDI. So it is back to the original restricted factory setting.
It keeps everything else: NCY brake levers, Malossi Multivar variator with Dr. D 6grms Sliders, Malossi Fly cluth
and Malossi clutch bell, Daytona Kevlar reinforced belt, lower seat frame and lower ergo bars, digital Tach, low foot pegs,
NGK racing sparkplug lead with NGK sparkplug and cap, Honda VFR 800 compatible sparkplugh coil, Lithiuim battery,
spanking new front and rear tyres, sports airfilter, cranckcase breather and other pretty cool mods like relocated speedo,
smoked indicators, side number plate, etc. I have all the new shims unused too.

PRICE: 700 pounds

I have all this parts for sale too:

Yoshimura carbon exahust: 150 Pounds
Jiangwaine CNC Forks (less than 3 months of use): 120 pounds
Motoritec Rear Shock (5 months of use): 60 Pounds
KITAKO CDI (open but never used, like new) : 75 Pounds
NCY CDI for Honda Ruckus non EFI(new unpacked) With NGK High output coil and Sparkplug cable and cap: 150 pounds
Polini CDI Used (not sure if is In good working order or not): 30 Pounds
Set of 8grs Dr D Sliders Set of 6grs Dr D sliders both with little use : 20 Pounds
Set of 7 grs Mallosi rollers practically new): 10 pounds
Polini Speed variator ( in farely good condition): 30 pounds
Original Seat frame: 40 Pounds
Under original seat basket: 15 pounds
Back seat rest for original seat: 20 pounds
Original indicators front and back: 18 pounds
Original side mirrors: 20 pounds

...and I thing that is all...there might be something else but can remember of the top of my head.

You can contact me by mail (ecastellsm@hotmail.com) if interested in either the bike or any of the parts
and we can take it from there. The bike has to go so the quicker the better. Ahh, and it will have to be picked up
from my place or the buyer has to arrange transport.

Thanks guys,
ed
;)

Finding a replacement engine is like rocking horse shit
Do really your looking at breaking it unless someone has a engine to put into it
I'll buy the frame and logbook if you decide to go down that route

There is nothing wrong with the engine.
The bike was running absolutely fine 3 weeks ago. It simply needs the valve clearances adjusted which is what I was trying to do when I made the rookie mistake I already explained in the initial post. Out of the four valves, three of them are just fine is only the left top one (looking from the front of the bike) the one that basically needs re engaging, and by that I mean, the spring has come loose from the stem because the split sleeves that hold it together sprung off. I could do it my self if I had the freaking special tool for valve mounting that honda uses, and the time to do it as, to do it right, you have to first dismount cylinder head. I have a big bike coming on Sunday, and this has been just very unfortunate for me. I would have had this one for sale as a perfectly running bike if I hadn't made this silly mistake over the weekend.
So just to clarify THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ENGINE.

Whoever gets this bike could have it fix for no more than ÂŁ300 either at a Honda dealer or at any competent Motorcycle garage.

Cheers guys

Shame it's so far away,

I've got a working engine in my back garden, minus the swing arm.

So if anyone buys it and needs that, let me know, I should also have just the top end parts somewhere... I've still got bits coming out my arse...

The bike has been relisted, sorry. I had some clever clocks trying to play it on me.

That is it guys....no more Zoomer sale..., I've decided to fix the bike myself and keep it. Got fed up of people wanting gold
for the price of copper...

Parts are still up for sale but obviously all the good bits I am keeping with the bike yoshi and suspension.
Thanks to you all, but this beauty is staying at home.

cheers
