Post subject: 2008 Zoomer NCY CDI install help!
PostPosted: Tue Oct 20, 2015 7:39 pm
Hey everyone, I'm new here to the forum just dropped by because I picked up a 08 zoomer over here in Korea. Ordered a ncy cdi for it and am having some issues installing it. For example, I do not have the blue service port plug that apparently is very crucial to the install. Also when looking at my ecu wires they look completely different than a ruckus so I am having issues with the red wire that needs to be tapped into there. I will post pictures later when I get off work but if anyone has any resolution or has figured this out any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Quick question; is this a fuel injected ruck / zoomer?

In that case a ruckus cdi like the ncy is no good for you.
You need a polini or kitaco. Both are specially made for the FI bikes.

Yes it is FI. But all the instructions are in Japanese and even ncy is a Japanese brand I would assume they make all parts for zoomers. So where would I purchase a kitaco kit?
