英語の翻訳/translation (I think, I'm pretty crap at this myself):

hi everyone!
southtek-san reintroduced me; it's been a while since I posted.
but I just don't get anything in English... sorry about that...

if you've got topics and questions, I don't really understand. Help me Jon

Konichi-wah from Okinawa. My first post since moving over here the last couple of weeks. I've got a car (Toyota Mark II Tourer V--twin turbo!), drivers license, cell phone, and a house of my own now. I will receive my household items over the next month or so, but am getting by on temporary loaner furniture for now. Logging in from a internet cafe right now and hope to have my personal PC hooked up tomorrow night in my house. That'll be my entertainment for the next couple of weeks until my family gets here.

Having driven off base today, it was CRAZY! Scooters everywhere--everyday transportation, not a novelty at all! Now if I can just learn enough to communicate with the locals and begin to buy parts... Southtek-saw a bunch of motorcycle and scooter shops on the main street (Route 58)--any lines on a good one or perhaps a Tokyoparts outpost here on Okinawa?

沖縄へようこそ☆
welcome to Okinawa!

damn you're lucky to be living there. it's my favorite part of Japan.
don't know any parts dealers down there... all the vehicles I saw there (from the scooters to the 70's Buicks) were all beaters.
