There are a lot who do it in a few months, but that means down time, I'd rather ride. If ya need help or tips, let me know. You buy the beer. Im lucky there, no downtime from a good ride... I have the Ruck, a Zuma125, and a couple of Honda Sprees ( I have no clue what Im going to do with them, but Im sure I will figure out something some day) The Ruck is the pride of the fleet, so that is the one that I want to trick out. The wife has a Vino 125 so the Zuma 125 is needed to keep up with her, but in all honesty... I feel no love for the Zuma, but I also dont want to break it down for a swap, Im thinking of maybe trying to find a used Vino 125 and trying a swap after the summer is overwith. I have never done anything like this so who knows what will really go down...

As far as the Ruck goes, you have to decide if you want to invest in some go fast parts for it, or just get a donor to swap for it. Basic performance mods- Variator kevlar drive belt - kitaco or daytona exhaust with wide header pipe low seat chanito wind screen lightened flywheel

MrGoodwreck wrote: So safe to say that for the most part, everyone from around here is just running the stock GET with some performance add on's? locally, yes. I ride my 125 scoot if I want to go on speed runs. urchin is running a 150 GY6 in his, rusty's is almost done. A few more over west of us, a few in Seattle, a few south, then some more south, down in Portland. Then double or triple that for all the lurkers on this site. Most local modded GET Rucks will do 45 on a flat, 50-54 downhill, so if you're not doing 45, you'll need someone to draft.......

OK Cool, Im just touching 40Mph as it is. I have lost 40 lbs this winter so maybe that will put me at 40 now. I have been looking at builds, and there are some trick looking rucks out there, but im a Rat Rod kinda guy, so simple in looks, and hidden mods are kinda my thing. I was going to spend my summer tricking out the Sprees, but i think they will wait now.

That and a low seat will GET you over the 40mph mark.
