holy shit i cant wait! i know it must be a typo though, says 2009, it will be 2010 no?

also we need to boost our numbers. i simply cant believe there is only us who talk-what 12-13 of us? in all of portland and surrounding areas? there has to be more of us out there. how do we find them? do we like, was it BMLS who said,get into parades to attract? we need to find them!! so when out of towners come in to town they get jealous!!!

I'll put the word out at Gresham Honda. They love the ruckus and, as I've said before, there are at least a dozen rider out there. I want this shit so bad!

Man, I have bad juju with Spring Scoot. The last two years, something has gone wrong in one way or another to screw up my Spring Scoot Plans. I'd love to come up for that again, this time with better luck hopefully. BTW they don't update the Springscoot website till about a month before it happens. Usually happens between the Middle of April and early May.

i could be wrong but isnt this event hosted by "twist n play".... dont they all ride vespas.....150's and such.....

i like the idea of a ruck rally... possibly other 50cc scoots... but arent there enough vespa clubs/rallies. what happened to doing our own thing, making a presence. i think there are enough of us now for that.

I plan on using this as an excuse to get together. I'll think we'll meet at spring scoot on friday and then spend the rest of the weekend doing our own rides and pub crawls. Also, I think it would be good for us to show that we DO ride. It's a chance to kinda stick it to the vespa crowd.

I do feel that this is a great idea.

Doughnut (who is the head of Twist-n-Play) is a super chill guy who always has your back. He is a good guy to ride with and the rides are well planned and well supported with good drink specials at the destinations (I know you guys appreciate that). Just give a thought to doing the rides (there is a slayer BBQ every year where you more than get your moneys worth) and showing them that us Ruckus riders stick together, that we aren't some Import trend that is going away, and that we aren't as elitist as the Vespa guys we complain about. Though I would love to see us own them at the Gymkahna! Plus, there is plenty of time during the weekend to do rides of our own. Think about it...

Plus since Bradford the pres of Corazzo is also the pres of Vespa Club o' America, they will have plenty of good swag to win at the raffle!
If people from Seattle (or farther north) can make it down, will there be places to stay the entire weekend? it might need an extra night before and after, since the trip is kinda long...

My old place was much more accommodating to host. No garage and no spare bedroom anymore. Spring Scoot brings back good memories for me. It was when I got to meet Wan and Sean for the first time. Although I did end up with a nail in my tire and a slow leak following the long Saturday ride.

PNW peeps should hit me up whenever they need a thread moderated. Just shoot me a PM and I can usually respond pretty quickly.
