What's ruckin, my friends.

We had a succesful LBC to Hollywood ride yesterday. Next ride is July 26 at 11am at the Pike Bar in Long Beach (1836 E. 4th Street). We can adjust the time I guess, but I figure we need an earlier time so that people could make plans for their saturday evening or continue to have a longer journey with the pack. So.....

LBC to Palos Verdes Loop Ride!!! Beautiful view of Catalina and the Channel! Lots of curvy roads and twisties( I think). We will go over that big assed bridge above all the cruise ships. We'll come out of this scenic route and pass thru Redondo and Manhattan Beach. Then we will proceed thru Venice and stop in Santa Monica. From Santa monica we can head east with the SGV folks who are showing up and take our fast Alameda route back home. This is a long one people, and I am calling all you OC, SGV, L.A., Southbay scooterists out there. no need to own a Ruckus. I don't. All types of scoots are welcome. Motorcycles too (at 35-40 mph pace).

Damn, I'm hoping I'll be joining you guys soon on these rides. Cruising Palos Verdes would be fun as hell...I ride some of the trails there on my Mnt bike....I'm just waiting around for my '09 to come in....it's killin' me :/

Thanks for adding the thread on that website. I love those trail bikes! We have a couple in Catalina that people use daily. I'd love to have one of those! Yeah the bigger variety, the better. I might make commemorative buttons if lots of people would show up. I might tell the owner to expect lots of bikes to show up that day. Let's take over the Vincent Thomas Bridge!

Update:

I took a ride to the Vincent Thomas Bridge yesterday. The big rigs were going to fast to and fro! I'm going to bypass the bridge route and go through Anaheim Street/Lomita blvd. instead. I was thining about the folks with stock motors and such as they would not be able to keep up on the steep bridge gradient. Going thru Lomita and harbor City will take a bit longer but at leat it is safer.

How about if all of us with faster rucks give the stockers a push? Really....haha!

shiiiit! we made it up on super sunday 2.....it may be stock and slow as hell and take me forever.....uhh, ill take a push.
if there are enough of us well be ok. its up to you guys , but hey, safety in numbers.

cool...how about we take a vote on going over the bridge with everyone who is meeting up? i've never been over that bridge and really wanna ride over it, but i understand about the safety issues though.
