Post subject: Hand-made GET Speedometer Brackets (Revised design)
PostPosted: Thu Aug 16, 2012 2:26 pm
GET Speedo Brackets! I have a guy who laser cuts the main piece, I then cut a little more, drill and hand-bend them into 2 different types. One for short stems (password/bmx style) and one for tall stems (mountain bike style). These are intended for stems that move the handlebars forward. They are made of steel. You can use the rubber pieces from your stock bracket/handlebars or use wide washers for more adjusting and a tighter fit. You will need to paint them and get a 10mm nut and bolt. Note: They will oxidize without paint. $31 shipped to the 48 continental states. $37.50 shipped to Canada.

The one on the left (Version 1) is for short stems. The one on the right (Version 2) for tall stems.

Thanks. I actually made the design(s) last year for my bike. Recently there was some local interest from my Chi-town ruckus peeps. Cheap, clean and easy solution. They are kind of a pain in the ass to make, but all for a good cause.

Payment pending on one.

Please be specific on which one you want. You can email me pics of what you have and I can tell you if I have one that will work or not. I don't want to sell these just to have them not fit your set-up. Feel free to hit me up and ask questions.

-Alex

They are meant to work on 7/8" bars. You can open them up so they will work on 1 inch bars as well.
