This is the stator that came on my engine. Can I run this stator with this harness? Know how I should wire it?

I just swapped my Ruckus to a GY6 using the DanMax harness supplied with DROW Sports kit.

I'm pretty positive I have everything wired up correctly.

I can start the bike by kickstarting it, but when I push the start button, it sounds like it's trying to start, but nothing happens.
Is this an issue with the starter? It's a brand new engine, so I'd hope nothing is wrong and would need to be replaced.

The bigger problem is that I do not have any turn signals or brake light.
The headlights turn on.

I have two pairs of LED turn signals up front (side of box, and ones facing forward) as well as a Turtlehead LED taillight.
Nothing turns on.

I have tried replacing the relay that came with the harness to a LED relay from theruckshop and it did not work.
I have tried using an ELFR-1 and it did not work (I'm not sure if I've hooked that up correctly.. red wire from relay to gray wire, black to black?

Any suggestions?
Please and thank you!

I finally got everything installed with the harness and is good to go. Very straight forward and good for the price! I got led bar headlight and r6 taillight setup. Make sure you wire your left hand controls to DC powered if you running 11 pole before you blow a bulb!!

Ok from what I remember, those color wires are for your stator.
You can color match them and connect them together depending what stator you have
The wire with the terminal is the motor ground to frame. *Its the short wire* It came shipped bolted together to the starter wire but it is separate. Take it off and you use that to ground the motor to the frame.
The other wire is connected to your starter wire. I cut the terminal off and you can either solder or crimp it tgoether because I didn't like the way it connected by screwing it together.
Also there should be a autochoke plug back there somewhere. You can connect that to the choke plug from the carb if you running it. Some people ditch it and jb weld but up to you.

The wires circled are for the tail lights. And the black wire with yellow terminals are engine to frame ground. The stator wires or toward the top of the harness picture. About a foot away from the tail light wiring.

Many thanks
I guessed so as there at the end of the harness near the back of the bike when harness is mocked up
so the answer to my question from other member Jleclair738 is incorrect?

Please for the love of god don't wire your tail lights to your stator.

Starter yes he is correct. Like I said previously, the stator and auto choke wires are about a foot away from the tail light wiring.
Have a nice day. :highfive:
