Where would you connect the wire that is labeled green. Stator ground?? I am having a charging issue with my hids. When off it charges almost 15 volts while riding as soon as I put my hids on it drops to 12.4 and Continues to drop till the point that the volt meter do sent even read. Then I'm stuck with dead bat.

Had that problem. I could never he my battery to charge. Plus my heads would shut off after 5 min of riding.

Almost done wiring up the GY6, this harness is great!

One question though, running aftermarket right controls. Have the starter wired up to the "magic button" but don't currently have a switch for the kill switch. Can I bypass the kill switch some how on this harness or do I need to go out and find a momentary switch since I read that toggle won't work?

I've read all pages and can't seem to find the answer to this.

Thanks!

You can bypass the kill switch by not connecting the wires that go to the kill switch. I recently swapped out my kill switch for a headlight switch, just left the wires disconnected (heat shrinked and taped to prevent any shorting of course) and I have no issues.

So today my danmaxx harness randomly burnt up?
It burned the ground to the motor at the first attempt to crank. Took out the rest of the harness for the stator with it.

Run another ground from just the battery to the engine. You probs overloaded the single ground wire going to the engine or frame.

I had to get a new relay (the clear thing wrap in tape with 6-8 wires running to it) because I think the other one burnt or shorted. Had to desolder the leads, now I don't know which wire goes where. Do you have a guide for reconnecting a relay???

We just got are harness and everything seems to be wired as labeled and as described at the beginning of the post. We have an 11 pole stator. The thing is cranking when the key is turned and the start button in pressed. But it seems that it isn't getting an spark. I tried testing the voltage at the front end of the coil. I don't see any voltage.

Any suggestions on where to look?

They're made to order. When I ordered mine they told me to just go ahead a place your order and pay through their online purchase. Took about a week for them to make.

If anything I would give them a call beforehand.
