So I'm trying to hook up this Mikuni fuel pump to my ch250 engine. 2 things happen, either the fuel floods out the exhaust, or the engine won't start. I know fuel is getting in, maybe too much fuel is getting in. When I unplug the fuel pump and start it, it turns no problem until it burns all of the gas from the carb. I've been searching on here and haven't found the info I need. I've found some diagrams, but I could use a lot of help. Thanks in advance.

AS far as I'm aware, old Honda Elites are just gravity-fed the fuel. . .so if you're running out of fuel too fast, then I'd say to make sure your tank is venting and maybe replace the petcock. You shouldn't need a fuel pump.

Jedi 2.0 I think he is having trouble with his Ruckus Eliticus 250cc build.

jbanzuke... you couldn't just use the Ruckus Fuel Pump?

Thanks guys, great show by the way mike.
I tried my ruckus pump, but something must have happened to it. When I turn the key, it pumps once, that's all. I'm guessing if my GET engine needed 10 pumps to prime, the 250 might need more than one. I know I'm close.
