Here are some current motor hotel listings for those who would like to stay "in the middle" of everything. I'm sure if anybody wants to room together the rate can be split between them- plus the more people we have in one location the easier it will be to get together to ride! These are not the 5-star $250/night hotels remember.

http://www.seattlelahacienda.com/ Possible ground level entry for Ruckus safety, room rates are good (and printed on website, none of that "call for rates". Right by Safeco/Qwest fields

http://www.columbusmotorinn.net/ Again, ground level entry, Greenlake neighborhood so it is close to downtown, rates start at $65-$75. Kinda 80's looking decor.

It would be sick if there was a campground that people could stay at for real cheap that's close to the party.

I'm pretty sure I can still host at least one person (two if they are a couple or don't mind sharing a full size bed/futon)
If anybody else local can host (I know we did this call-out before) let us know- now's the time to get it settled. Even if you're outside the city, if you're gonna be at all the events it will work out fine to ride in together.
Again, this one is right down by the stadiums, with ground level entrances http://www.seattlebedandbreakfast.com/229.shtml
This one's in Ballard, though I don't know about parking... http://www.hostelseattle.com/hostel_seattle
And this one in GreenLake (about 5 minutes from downtown) Minimadman called them, might be worth it to call them and check availablity now...

And if you're really set on pitching a tent  my small side yard is overgrown and DOESN'T have chickens or dog poop...

The guys from RUCKSTERS and I will be staying at The Sheraton downtown Seattle. We will be arriving Friday, where is the meeting spot or staging area before cruises?

Hey Mike, my wife say's it's OK, as long as I whip the kids into shape and get them to do some cleaning around here (that means I have to do my job too) I can actually put you up on a full-size futon couch in my basement if you don't want to set up a tent...
I owe you a favor anyway!

Hey Seattle peeps, it looks like the majority of the portland crew is bitching out so the house rental is not going down. What hotel is everyone staying at? Did an official CON hotel get chosen? If not is downtown the bees knees?

I've never had to stay at a Hotel here- when I first visited, i stayed at the Green Tortoise (patchouli-scented backpacker hostel) What's up with the PDX crew? I thought they would have a BUNCH of people coming up? Check back one page, there was one right by Qwest field that is surprisingly inexpensive. Otherwise, Tukwila is just south of downtown (don't go as far as Seatac if you can help it) and Green Lake and Shoreline is just north of downtown. I guess Rucksters' crew is hanging out at the Sheraton downtown, but I don't know about parking for Rucks there...
Anybody close in have room for some scoots in their garage? I have room for 3-4 Rucks (not including mine, and I'm assuming Honest Mike's will be there if he's staying here), and I'm about 10 minutes ride from the starting point for Thursday and Friday- about 15-20 or so from downtown.
