Good call on the Metro.
They are way cooler than the Ruckus
I got my metro and came to the metro section hoping for many of the things you are looking for.
However to be brutally honest the Met sections is a little slow so there's just not enough info there yet.
I am sure as more people buy and mod the Mets the section will grow.
All I can say for the research is to check out the ruckus corner carving and ruckus performance sections a lot.
A lot of the performance and handling mods for the Ruck will work for the met and you will eventually find any met specific stuff you are looking for if you hang out here long enough.

I love the ruckus's, but I bought the metro, because to be honest, I got it new, for what I could have bought a relatively beat ruckus for. No real worries about someone else's molestation, no question as to how well the motor has been taken care of. The Fairings are nice too, as wind resistance seems to be less of an issue (test drove both on the same day). Today, I broke 98 miles (70 of them today alone) and enjoyed every minute of it. Infact, I just MET another metropolitan owner today aswell, Some random person in McKinney with a green and white. Said she has had it for 7 years and rides daily. No modifications, but it's a well loved bike. I referred her to TR, but we'll see if she follows through.

They are comfortable to ride STOCK. I have OE windshield on mine and it really cuts the wind
I have 525 miles on my 08 black and gray. It goes 43 on limiter
You can take out restrictor plate in intake manifold re jet ( main jet )with a ruckus 75 jet. Should Work for a faster met. And change rollers out for Dr pulley sliders 5.5g or 5g. Happy Scooting

What should I expect from De Restricting and Rejetting? And where Do I source these Jets? Locally at a store or online?

it should make ur met alot more peppy and should increase ur top speed a bit

the jets can b found online, the vendors on here or at some of the local lawn mower service shops. there is a place called Plano Power that deals with lawn mower service that carries jets for us. my friend is picking me up a few jets from there tomorrow. u should try there if u feel like driving from McKinney

I think I will. Do I just ask for Jets to fit a Honda 50cc?

I am that friend and that was fail at Plano power. They don't have the jets in stock. So I'll be ordering them online.

Well, thanks for the info, but I was looking for an excuse to ride into plano with the met, Hah! Maxim Honda in Allen wouldn't have jets would they? I want to de-restrict my met, but i'd rather not run lean.

recently installed a daytona speed variator kit from BSS. feels like its bogging real bad from 10-20mph or so, then tops out a bit earlier than it did before (not hitting limiter, just no more power)

checked the rollers and they all seem ok, except for one, which has a flat spot on it. also replaced the belt today, and problem persists.

any ideas? should i try swapping in the stock met rollers?

On US Mets, the light on the right is blue and indicates when you highbeam headlight is on.
The one on the left should light up red when you are running too hot.
While the picture looks SIMILAR to a Met speedo, I'm not sure it is. That is because I've never seen one that displays kilometers only. It may exist, I just don't know.

Think its imported from Japan, it says crea scoopy on the side.

Which one came on and when? High RPMs?

i'm trying to find a new front fender for my ghost '09 met. is the white fender on the other mets the same color?

dont think so, the ghost met is a really white color, the other whites r creme-like
