Post subject: "Will a Ruckus fit in a...?" Post pics here.

I have seen many posts since I have been here where new or soon to be new Ruckus owners are curious or worried about how to get their new baby bad-ass home or to a rally. Usually the answers are "take the handlebars off" or "if you twist it like an drunk prom queen...".

I think this is another one of those times where an actual picture would speak volumes.
I will even start it up. I am fortunate enough to have access to a GMC 3500 Safari "prisoner" van, so I have no problem transporting mine and a few others at the same time.

Please post pictures of Rucks being transported in different cars, trucks, trailers, etc. here to show how you got it home.

or, people could go grab a tape measure, and go to town.

maybe we should post the width (with bars) and the length somewhere, as a stickie. even though that's not our responsibility.
i know i asked if a ruck would fit in a toyota tacoma once, but i didn't have the truck yet to measure.
i was going to buy a tacoma anyway.
so if anyone is buying a new car based on whether a ruck will fit in it,
they need to re-evaluate thier priorities

2008 basic tacoma: YES

with even two inches to spare with ducktail intact.

I don't have a picture but a Ruckus (or other) will fit in the back of a 2 door Chevy Blazer with the tailgate down and a few well-positioned straps.

Here's my Met (mirrors removed) loaded onto a friend's truck - an '89 F150 w/ shell (and homemade ramp).

+1

I need to see if my Integra has enough oomph to pull a folding trailer. That's my only hope for transporting the bike, as a truck/suv is NOT in my immediate future.

^ yeah, i need to come up with something too since i do not want to use the gas hog work van to get my ruck to kc in july. i am looking into a small trailer for my focus, but i am also worried that towing such a lightweight trailer and bike will make me more vulnerable to the wind and i would hate to have that bugger jackknife on me or flip. :?
