I have valve float at 45mph but I can push threw it and get 48. What should I do to get the most out of my little buddy

@what rpm's do you experience the valve float?
most likely you are hearing / feeling / sensing the stock rev limiter......

do you have a cdi to raise rpm's past 10500 rpm?

I have a posh cdi? Could the cdi be making the noise that what I thought it was at first?

How you checked valve lash?
Do you have a tach to see what rpm it's floating at?
Are the mods in your sig on this ruck?

I have new shims at correct gap. No tac no idea what rpm.
