Does anybody know where you can get a kit from a distributor.... that actuly has product, and wants to sell it. I know some of these parts are hard to get because of importing restrictions, volume, and customer demand but there seams to be a huge demand for sold distributor that is in business to really be the go to supplier for all of these parts. I am not poo pooing all vendors and suppliers but I work in a multi line motorcycle dealership and we would be closed if we did business like some of these guys. I don't mean to get on a tangent but there are more than a few people that want to do gy6 swaps in my part of Florida.
Thanks In advance for your time and info.." :headbashing:

Since most of the kits include custom built parts it makes it tough to always have the kits in stock..... just like with all custom parts for the ruckus it's a waiting game sometimes!!! :)

It's been really tough the last year or so with the custom ruckus scene exploding the way it has and everyone wanting to build one...

Why do you need a kit? Just buy a mount, a hub, and a wheel/tire. It's really not hard to find this stuff.

I know I can cobble it together, but would like the piece of mind knowing that all the pieces will work together ie. ( back spacing on the hub, wire harness that is not just a donor harness, also I want rear disc so I was hoping to have the caliper and hanger together so I know the offsets are right for rear shock clearance). Actually last night I got set up with two solid suppliers, that have great fill rates and good products with quick turn around times. I'm in Florida and can now get long cases in 1 ship day and have a list of all products we will be offering with them... flat slides, pro intakes, yoshimura pipes, wire harness with 11 pole already in place, calipers ,rotors, tires, bars, custom seat pans and custom seats. Keep in mind this is going to ba available soon and there is going to be plenty of it. I have been a pm in multi line dealer for 15 years and fully understand the concept of supply and demand.
Golden rule 1
You don't ever run out of something that is your best seller, you have 90 day supply.
If you sell 1, order 2, you sell 2, get 4 etc.

Hmm I guess I don't get it. If you don't want to do any work send it to Rucksters or some place similar. Half the fun for me is figuring out what works with what. Good luck with your build.

Hey, if you've got those type of resources I would think you could easily come up with your own kit and start selling it. I guess the main problem is that most people are doing Gy6 swaps, but not all Gy6's are the same. I don't think there really is a "one-size-fits-all" solution.

I think it sounds like you should be doing your own kits.

This scene is very different than motorcycles. The amount of people who ride ruckus is extremely extremely super duper small compared to motorcycles. Each small town around the county has 2-5 ruckus'. A big city has like 20 (not including California). And if there was a "reasonably priced" swap kit, then you and your buddies scooter would have the same wheels/ tires and when u meet up with the guys from the next town over , they would have the same. This makes it very hard to sell fatty kits.
