I've heard everything from 320lbs to 460lbs. What is the right weight limit! :headbashing:

Also, suppose to pick my BR up on Saturday :monkeyscoot

The OEM rear shock absorber is inherently load limiting because the spring is so undersized. If any of the aftermarket rear shocks are installed the Scooter will definitely handle better at the load limit. When I bought the Ohlins HO839 they asked for rider weight and if a passenger is to be carried.

officially 320 lbs

unofficially this thing is made to carry a third world family with luggage and a few barnyard animals

I weigh 365 lbs and have 22,xxx miles on mine

on sunday my wife and I rode two up on it on a group ride for 6 hours including a couple massive hill climbs and descents.

It runs just fine with lousy acceleration and braking but feels solid as a Honda the whole time.

I have ridden it St.Louis to CarolinaCoN twice overloaded with luggage and my fat ass.

The limit is a suggestion...

My first bike was a 2002 Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom with its 400 lb weight capacity my (then) 300 lb ass and a 104 lb passenger was MAX capacity, I had a 145 lb girl on it with me and it was scary. The limit was serious.
