I have looked and looked on here but cant find the thread that explains how to change the fuel filter. It has to be there but I cannot find it.

I'm not sure if there IS a thread specifically for that , probably over-looked due to its simplicity.

I'll walk you thru this ,

1. Remove your left footrest
2. Remove the left side panel
3. The fuel filter and fuel pump are mounted right there on the side of the gas tank.
4. Gently use pliers to squeeze the fuel line clamps and pull the lines off the white fuel filter.
5. The fuel pump and the fuel filter are held on to a metal arm with black rubber mount, easily come off.

When you're finished , reverse those steps and you're done.
