I bought a 2006 big ruckus off craigslist. I have no manual. The mech at my local shop told me that both headlights are not supposed to be on . I have a small ruckus and they are both on. Should both of my big ruckus headlamps be on or only when i put on my brights.

Yep, dual relay system in the wire harness, both low beams are on together and when you hit the switch for high beam , the relays turn both low beam filaments off , and turn both high beam filaments on.

That mech at your local shop should go back to working at Walmart

:canuck:

Please don't take a real problem there till you check on here. Why was he concerned about that? As long as they were working why would he even mention it?
