Dealer has my 2006 Big Ruckus and says the valves cannot be adjusted because it has set for a couple of months. Says the valves, seals and guides have to be replaced. What do you think? Bullshit?

Sounds like bullshit

How many miles on the scoot?
Does it still run?...was it still running before sitting?
Sitting "for a couple months" is "normal" for seasonal sitting....

How could they possibly know if valves and seals need replacing without tearing it down?

Valve adjustment is external on the Big Rucks.....their diagnosis sounds off-base, going off what info you have shared here.

:canuck:

I'll bet this is great time of the year to pay for Sawman to GO to Hawaii and I'll bet he'll fix your scoot right up! If he needs some help, I can be his assistant!! :canuck: :usa: :highfive:

Deales now says valve shafts are pitted so valves cannot be adjusted properly. If I use the pitted valez it will wear out the new seals rapidly.
