Anyone ever hit or near miss a small to medium sized animal while riding before?


I did a while ago on the way to school while it was still dark. Left some feather prints on my windshield lol

I rounded a corner and surprised a bird. it was flying low and my helmet almost went up its but. Almost redefined "put a bird on it"

Almost hit a doe in 2011. If you ever see them, they will wait until you are right up on them before they run out across the road.

This happened a couple months back but I was ridin down the road when a squirrel ran across the street and I somehow managed to hit it with the rear wheel... :ucrazy:

I had a squirrel run out in front of me and dance back in forth. Couldn't tell which way it was gonna go so just guessed and missed it. Got lucky

The district I live in is literally called Conejo Valley so as you'd expect, there's lots of rabbits late at night.
Fortunately no casualties yet but I had to slam on the brakes hard once when one of them ran across the road and did a 90 degree turn so I was chasing it down the road
