Hey guys figured i would finally do a write-up for the scoot. If any of you watch or play "The Ride Game" you have watched my Ruck grow but here's the run down.

09' Honda Ruckus only 595miles
$1800
picked it up in May 2012

(will it fit..Chevy S-10 reg bed with tool box=YES)
Image

mild mods:
lowered seat frame
pegs
relocated turn signals
bobed rear fender

Image

First mod was welding on a goofy power chamber i had laying around off a old pocket bike, Since i was still kinda broke and needed to rejet but wanted a intake...i drilled holes in the air box cover :wasted:
Image

Saved up some dough:
PW:JDM drag bars and 6.5" stretch
Turtle Head
Briggs and Straton exhaust. wanted that MNITBX style cone but on a 21yr old budget beer comes first..SOOO we had an idea! Slash cut the power chamber in the middle and BOOM cone 8)
Image

Image

Just a poser shot with my shop truck
Image

After a FEW months of slowly buying parts new and used (thanks to everyone who sold me there used crap! everything worked great) time to swap to a Disk Front end

RRGS low-down forks
NCY Rotor
NCY Caliper
12mm Spacers
Dio Master Cylinder
10x3.5 Monkey 5 Star w/hub
Blue 12mm axle, Grips, Grande valve caps
Image

Image

Took some time to get all the bugs worked out. this is sitting on the stock tire.
One big bug was on one of the test runs im about 10+miles away from home and the exhaust decided to brake off at WOT 45+ Talk about scary when you have a whole new front end and you hear a loud bag and the bike run over the pipe.. i thought it was the front end and i was goin down.
Image

How she sits for now added a sl26 90-90-10 to the front to GET it nice and low.
Image

STAY TUNED IN
FATTY BUILD IS ON ITS WAY!!

Looking good man. Just build a bracket for that exhaust and you'll be set.

I thought I was the only one on here that has RRGS low down forks and NCY Caliper! I initially bought the NCY front kit with the silver rim. Then realty hit :ucrazy: .

Sold my NCY forks and got this:

Hope it goes with my stock red.

alot more guys run them then you would think. and the red on the rrgs is prob gonna be a bit darker..and more metallic lookin.

UPDATE:
started the fatty build. im going to be running a BR Lego mount with a 12x7 wheel.

few teaser pics
Image

All stretched out

Image

Now i would have gotten this all together but we ran into some trouble building the mount...had to see the Geometry of the situation :dubious:. After building the mount I lowered the bike off the blocks and motor sat on the ground...little TOO stanced for me. Then realized it was 6pm on my day off we said fuck it. So hopfully it will be all together for this weekend.

UPDATE:
Fatty build is finally complete!!

So the goal of having the ruck done but Saturday 8th was completed! the reason i needed the scoot done was there was a car show my friends shop was hosting. After a few long nights and one very early morning, i was up and working at 6am my test ride was to the show at 11am. i was an hr behind schedule but thats ok. time for pics and stats.

STATS:
Brandon Ryan lego stretch kit.
Extended brake, throtle, and fuel line
MOJO GET hub
Spacer and Adapter 4x137 to 4x110
12x7 Douglas Rockstar rim
Avon Viper 140/70/12 tire

Image

Image

she got her very own spot on top of the loading ramp and boy did it draw attention. Aparently mini truck guys have never seen a streched ruckus lol

Looks good mang, any thoughts of powdercoating the front wheel black to match the rear? Or some other matching color for both of them?

Info about the color scheme...I have no real clue what colors I'm goin to go with yet. Since I work in a Powder Coating shop the choices are endless  . But what I have decided is that I'm just goin to leave it alone until the winter. Riding season is gettin shorter by the day so I'm just goin go ride it. Always I'm always welcome to color options though. My latest idea is a pearl white frame with anidized blue accents about. But not sure the wheel color. :meh:

Man do I love these cool fall night..but I think my GET loves it even more. I have set my hightest top speed tonight with nothing more then Battlescooter intake kit, briggs exhaust, and a good jetting. I think its about time to switch the jets though, it was pinging wide open at 47- to a whooping 53! So pumped!! I'm thinkin I could get a bit more outa it though.

looks great man. I did exactly what you did the first couple of times. Made the mount, looked good. then sat on it and went.. "OH crap".. got to change that angle.
I bet you would agree. If you had to make another mount.. the 2nd one would go much more quickly?
