Currently running a Daytona Showa shock..... Looking for slightly shorter shock that is much stiffer....I am 200 lbs and that shock and the angle I mounted it at, the spring compresses all the way when I sit on it

I am also running the Pirelli sl26 130 rear tire....it is my understanding that the ATR shorty shock won't work.....any recomendations?

If your still running the stock air box the ATR wont work.

:dubious:

Stock tire size is 130. I ran ATR shock with 130 Bopper no issues.

What is a bopper?

Actually the longest length of the shorty shock is the length I am actually looking for.....so then can I still set it to have some give but still be stiff

The only suspension I actually have in my Daytona is the rubber bump stop that is built into it

Michelin bopper is not as wide as stock and pirelli.
Pirelly 130 is widest.
My buddy has an ATR with a pirelli and you must make the ATR very stiff to get the spring up and out of the way of the tire.
Way too stiff!!!
Do not get an ATR

Any other recomendations? Something adjustable would be nice.... If it is shorter I can just make a bracket to hold it to correct height

I have an ATR, and I agree, it's way too stiff. I also have the Manitou Swinger, which I've offered to you, and I would use it, but the composimo mount is for the GET engine.

It's not specifically made for a ruckus, which is maybe why you haven't heard of it, but Manitou is a really good brand. And the eye-to-eye adapter was made for shocks like this, to give people more options. It looks really nice, I've read good reviews, and I would run it if I had a GET engine. That's all I can really say.

No modifications needed, just the eye to eye adapter, which I have attached to the shock.
