I'm from Korea. My name is Tae Kyeong. But I know it's difficult to call.

I want to cross U.S on a Ruckus.
So I came here in the U.S

Actually I told my parents. I wanna study in Canada. But it's lie.
I'm sorry father, mother, Grand mother. But I believe it will be better and more interesting.


OK. It's start.
Finally I'm started 2days ago.


I stayed here for 3 nights. here is Too old hostel.


I think he is a boss. anyways after buying.


he is a manager. he was explaining lots of things but I didn't get it a lot. I'm not good at English


His name is Alex. He's from Germany. We stayed that hostel for 2day.
We talked a lot of things like girls, young generations and so on. He was always trying to connect internet for his Girl friend/
He met his girl friend in Brazil. yeah he lived at Brazil for a year and she is Brazilian!. wow I envy alex~


Finally I'm started.



Wow First off road! but it was ok. it's short.


I felt hungry. So I ate 3pieces of bread


What's this.? it's cheap and delicious!


I crossed this bridge. Mckenley bridge. Now I'm in Illinois~


Where is here and Who I am... ah India~..

I needed to find a place to camp. So I was finding.

Beside corn plant.
At the time I felt scared actually. I heard if policeman see me, I may go to Jail. hoo.. but I didn't have any other choice.
I slept with corn smells~

I was taking a rest in here. I forgot here's name. What a jerk. -_-;;


and I rode, I knew I had to cut my hair. my hair is too long
So I was finding a hair salon. not barber shop.

I really wanted to go to hair salon. cause I worked and learned hair dressing for a year.
but now It's done.
anyways I went there.


She cut my hair.
She is kind. for sure. but I'm so sorry Dr.EZP. you know what it means.? hahaha

Whooo~ I thought something.

oh night comes. and I went to camping ground.


OMG. here is Too Expensive. 33$ for only using camping ground!. hoo.. But I didn't have any choice.



and got a sleep.

Now I'm in Sandwich which is near Chicago.
To be honest, I was meeting one woman yesterday until I went to Camping ground.
and She is a Korean, and she told me "hey come here again tomorrow in the morning"
So Now I'm in Sandwich. and Using Internet.


and I have a question.
I want to change engine oil. $I ran about 360(what is it.? is it miles or kilometers.?)
and I think I have to change engine oil soon cause first time I have to change early right.?
If I have to change soon. Do you guys know where is a motobike shop which can change engine oil in Chicago.?
and is it ok to ride almost full power.?

I'm so sorry I don't know lots of things not only Ruckus but also variety of U.S


P.S If you guys have a time, can I hang out with you guys.?

The US Ruckus is in miles, so you have gone 360 miles (about 580 km). You should change the oil soon and then you will be good for quite awhile. I can't help you with a motorcycle place in Chicago, but even car repair places can change the Ruckus oil--its really easy.

I think it is fine to run your Ruckus at full throttle now.

can anybody near or in chicago help this dude?

I am about an hour north or so of Sandwich. I have friends in Sandwich and my brother lives 20 min north of Sandwich. He has a ruckus and could do the oil change, or if you wanna ride to me.

Good luck on your journey and thanks TR for helping "K" out along the way.. I hope all goes well.. but I gotta say, did you do any reading in preparation for this epic event? Oil changes are easy, but you need to know a bit more about your Ruckus than that in order to diagnose and know when something is not functioning properly(and how to fix on the fly with little or no tools).
