Can someone tell me the clutch size on the CH250? I have one I will be using for future swap and have an opportunity to try a decent aftermarket clutch but need size. :meh:

Agreed, seems elite 250 parts same as helix 250 parts. I hear many parts from 250cc Chinese scoots fit as well.

AVOID CHINESE PARTS AT ALL COST!!!
Case in Point...
Honda CH250 Starter Clutch = $88 bucks (Should last 17,000 sMILES)
Chinese Starter Clutch = $35... lasted me 500 miles!!! Fuck that shit!!!!

Oya Malossi CH250 clutch has a nice bite but did loose a couple mph on my top end.
DIDn't Mess with it that much... took it out when the clutch brace started to rattle.

I'm not sure if the Elite had clutch issues , I would stay stock, spend a bit of time modifying the variator and driven pulley.

As for the motor , if you can't find the mods , make the mods...
I'm sure a simple rejet would be in order , and a free flow exhaust , all said and done , you would end up running "honda reliability" that will run top speed in the 80mph range.

For variator mods , machine the faces, play with the boss length , doing these two things can achieve a quicker take-off AND top-end , look into slightly lighter weights , look for the size needed but in Dr Pulley Sliders , check North West Buggies for you size , they have a ton of stuff for various machines

:canuck:

Thanks Sawman! As much GET CVT tuning as I've done, it should be fun. Endine doesn't go in until next fall/winter. Just accumulating parts now.
