Ok so this is pretty crazy!!! I've had the Ruck in layup for about 3 months. During that time I decided to re-route my harness and do a pseudo wire tuck. During the process I did have the to cut a couple wires for re-routing purposes but I made sure everything was soldered back on and I heat shrunk everything. To make this story short I got everything up and going and took the Ruck for a spin around the block to make sure everything was good. Then I noticed something weird. During braking I was feeling something tingly on my right arm. At first I was like "what the heck" but then I realized I was getting shocked. It's nothing crazy but you can definitely feel a constant little shock.

I checked it out to see if anything was touching the brake lever but can't see anything noticeable. I'm now thinking that maybe the shock is coming from the handlebars somehow and transferring it thru the brake lever to me. There's this weird rattle sound coming from the battery box (where my CDI is) but I already checked to make sure there wasn't anything loose in there. Can that rattle be coming from the CDI and somehow be transferring electricity from the frame (where it's mounted) to the stem to the handlebars to the brake lever and finally to me!!! Man I'm lost.

Of note the shocking wasn't happening before I decided to slice and dice the wiring harness. However that "rattle" sound was there coming from the batter box area.

Sorry for being so vague in my issue but this is the best way to explain it.

Thanks

Frankie

Check the brake buttons. I had a tingly feeling in one of the levers and one of the wires to the brake button was shorted out.
