Okay so I got a 2005 ruck and got a bunch of stuff done including
Cdi
Leo Vince exhaust
Brand new carb from Honda yesterday
83main jet 35 idle
Lowered stretched bla bla

So when I try and put on my old intake hose and a kn filter on the end of that it just bogs at half to full throttle then I take it off and put the filter right on the carb and it works...... why doesn't it work with the intake hose on the only thing I can think of is that the lung in the old style hose is causing a vaccine to keep air from flowing. Please someone help me out

Sounds like you don't have the right jetting. This is a long process to accomplish. Your air fuel mix is off. I went through the same thing with my bike. Have you shimmed the needle?
