Post subject: Impossible to find aftermarket parts for the Vino 125
PostPosted: Mon Apr 13, 2015 9:59 am
I've been wanting to upgrade the disc and caliper system for my vino 125 but I could not find any aftermarket options. Does anyone know if the Vino125 is similar to the older Cygnus 125 (carburated) in terms of part compatibility? It would be nice if I could buy a disc brake setup for the Cygnus that would be a direct fit on the Vino 125...

The Vino 125 has never had a huge availability of aftermarket parts. Now, 5 years out of production, there is very little out there. I doubt if an upgraded front brake was ever available. I'm curious as to why you want to upgrade it. The stock brake is very adequate. Don't know if there's anything out there from different models that is compatible. Good luck.

I just want to pimp it out more. I agree with the fact that the stock brakes are adequate.

You could paint the stock caliper.

Provo scooter used to have a bunch of parts. Did you check there? I haven't been there in a while, but look them up.

Best bet would be custom make things to fit.
Here is my engine bore up.
61mm piston with zuma 125 4 valve head on my dio I did 4 years ago. Just a spare engine I had lying around.

I see these people, http://www.jiangwayne.com/scooter/p_i.php?i=505 have an after-market universal caliper that may fit.
