Post subject: yamaha vino 50 70cc big bore kit
PostPosted: Fri Oct 10, 2014 7:08 pm
I have a 2002 yamaha vino 50 the bike is stock and has 18811km on the orginal cylinder and piston I am the 4th owner of the bike I have had it for two years I ride all year long and this is the only bike I found that starts in the canadian cold winter.

This summer riding it around I noticed I had power loss so I decided to get into the engine to see what is going on I found that the piston had some play and the reed block was open a bit I also found out that a couple final drive bearings had alot of play in them and the belt needed to be replaced but the roller weights are fine.

I bought a 70cc kit from ebay I also got carbonfiber reeds to replace my old worn out reeds I heared that the stock contra spring is not strong enough to keep up with the kit so I bought a 1500 rpm contra sprin and a Athena belt.

Dose any body know what my top speed will be with this kit I am hopeing to get around 50-57mph. The reason why I picked the vino for this kit is because it is light and Ilike how much storage space it has under the seat also Iwould like to know if I should get a performance cdi box.
