Probably Craigslist.

I didn't trade anything in for my Z125.. I just bought one. No regrets what so ever.

sorry, yes it's craigslist. I've come across a few nice Z's for as low as $1700.00 cash, but don't hold your breath.

It was late and I had a few so yeah that wasn't registering; seems obvious now of course. I have checked craigslist the past week and it's definitely slim pickens but it does seem like a good way to go. I'm hesitant to buy something used without knowing how somebody treated it but I guess you can get a good feel for that when you meet them and see what the bike looks like. $1700 wouldn't really be a problem and I could do it without getting too much grief from the wife. Wouldn't be getting hardly any if we didn't have an estimate for $13,000 for mold remediation in our basement! I'll be doing the majority of that shit job myself.

Fucking speech to text repeats!

it took me less than a year ta find the "one", but it took me almost a year. I do the good vibes too, but I still check. whenever I get 'em home I always find something wrong. left rear signal super-glued, fluids not been changed, etc. mold, damn I've heard some nasty stories. I have used commercial grade hydrogen peroxide . I DON'T recommend it unless ya know what you're doin'. whatever you do about the mold, make sure you have as close to awesome ventilation as possible. definitely not a job ya wanna half-ass.

So I got the mold situation handled for $5000 (insurance coverage max). Now I'm looking at a possible new(ish) Zuma. Any problems buying a 2013 with no miles? Do they get lot rot like cars? They don't offer black in the 2015's!!? http://m.cycletrader.com/dealers/Full-T ... -113403823

I never did really like the looks of the zuma, but yeah, they're better stronger and faster, just like Steve Austin!

Moved to New Mexico. Wisconsin had a shitty riding season. But I did ride my ruck to work in a suit in sub zero temps. Just could not ride when there was too much ice. But fuck all that, I live in NM now, riding all the time any time now and very happy with it ;-)

The only one that had an issue was the 2009 on a fuel pump and they recalled that. Also, you can make any year black with either paint or just swapping panels, both of which are a painless procedure.

I have RRGS low downs on the way. Super pumped.

Good point on the panels! I'm going to pick up a new 14 Titan color tomorrrow. $2978 OTD. Maybe could have done better but not bad I think. Very pumped to not have to worry about hills or impeding traffic. If I don't like the color I'll paint. I work at a Chevy dealership so I have access to professional body shop painters! :banger:

For $240 you can add 50% more horse. PM me and I can give you my cell if you want a line to someone who has done it.

I have to admit buddy I can't quite follow everything you're saying but I think basically "be happy with what I got"? I am! New scoot is great, trying to break it in properly but I can tell it's a new ball game. 20 miles only so far today. The color is cool, I'm definitely happy. Suspension seems much better too, which is a nice unexpected bonus.

Once I get it broke in do CVT tuning basics on Ruckus apply to the Zuma, as far as weights and revs? Sliders for Zuma and or lighter weights?
