I searched and found the post from a Big Ruckus using a plug in car charger. Is this possible on a GET50?

I have a connector on mine I run GPS or charge cell from. Also doubles to charge battery.

Scroll through this post and see a picture. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=106235&p=1656898&hilit=tender+connector#p1656898

I'm confused by that. So does that stay connected to the battery and you can just plug a tender into it? What about a USB port?

Not sure if you're serious, but yes:
2 wires (one red + positive, one black - negative) stay hooked up permanently to the battery

What's on the other end is the issue.
Most people have a battery tender type lead that looks like this:

I have that on several bikes.

I also have the normal 12v (cigarette lighter/power port( type on my BR :

If I wanted to charge my phone, I'd just stick one of these in there:

I'm sure there are dedicated USB wired setups now, but this is just what I use..

seems to be the same price as the battery tender plus option, maybe a dollar more.

I like, but I want to keep my handlebars low and clean. Maybe if I GET front foot pegs (i use the MNNTHBX rearset now) i could mount it on there and just run the power lines Up into the Batt Box.
