Reassembly begins. I'm undecided on the bars, they were just something I had lying around and figured I'd try 'em out. I like the look, but what are they like to ride with lol

Maybe I missed it, but are you swapping the motor out for a something bigger?

Nice build. Love the low bars but you're probably right about riding with them.

I plan on moving up to a 140cc in the near future, but for now I'm sticking with the stock 89cc. The PO had done lots of wonky stuff to the wiring harness and the bike overall, so I figured I should just get down to business and tear it down right off the bat... also gave me an excuse to start modding :banger:

Polished the front brake and painted the hub/spokes. Gonna do the rear wheel next:

Started mocking up an exhaust. I picked up my welder from my parent's house, but forgot the goggles. :headbashing: :headbashing: :headbashing:

Also made the sleeves for the rear shocks. As it sits:

Digging the bars. Are you planning on stretching the frame?

The whole things tight.

Nope, no plans to modify the frame, at this point that is the gist of what it will look like. The bars may be different in the future, but it all depends on what pops up on fleabay :wasted:

I'm kinda stuck with it for the moment; I need to pick up some wire and some shrink wrap when I go to town thursday and I can get going on tucking the harness. Also need to order me some tires once the paycheck comes in...

Pinstripe tape. I don't have nearly steady enough hands to do the actual thing :wasted:

Small update. I didn't forget about this thing, just not much time to do too much lately.
Finally brought my welder up to my new house to weld up the exhaust, only to find it's out of wire. Dammit.
Lowered the front end a bit more, realized I can lower the rear about another inch, notched the engine guard to accommodate the exhaust, mounted the tail light and signals, and got some new bars.

Got another picture of it. Yeah. I'm that cool... and probably kinda drunk.

My batteries in the camera died after I took this. I need some turn signals and a license and I'd riding this bitch. Sober, of course :wasted:
Fuck yeah/.
Enjoy the pic.
