^Bah- wait til you see what you got. I'd go for a domed 88 kit myself, or a jdm kit. Those big horizontals will work with a little... fitment.

Look up Tbolt if you want to spend cash or a new motor.

that engine has a clutch
sort of hard to add a clutch lever to a passort
you have that metal thing covering the bars, plus the bars arent the typical 7/8
but nothing is impossible
I see it has a shitty oil cooler too , would have to find a place to mount that too and with the leg shield in the way may be hard to get good flow to it

look for semi auto
N, 1, 2, 3, 4 pattern

the one you linked have common problems skipping out of gear with that shift pattern
not all of them but enough of them do that

oh yeah I think anything under 1981 will be 6 volt
so that engine is 12v, you will need probably $50 or more in parts to convert down to 6 volt, or just about the same to convert the bike to 12v by replacing all the bulbs in the bike

i'd rather convert to 12v, more options to play with in the electrical world. now for finding the auto shifting motor, is going to be a little difficult.. but thanks for the info i will keep my eyes open and send you some of the deals i find.

bought new whitewall inserts
the other ones I tried were from a wider tire and were used
they popped off riding would slip out of the bead or flap enough and slip out

so hopefully I dont have that problem
so far they have held and not moved any

treatland tv was the cheapest price ive seen like $30 shipped for all 4 inserts

bad night pic

install is easy but you have to take the wheels off the bike
the rear takes the longest
and I used this trick to keep it from accidentally closing the center stand, which has happened in the past when fighting the rear tire off

Image

just deflate and break the bead
then slip in these inserts and fill
then you may have to deflate and adjust and fill tire again
if you take your time they will sit in evenly
you can get a slight bubble if you dont inspect them after inflating they will slightly move when inflating

I think there may have been a run of the 140 semi autos years ago but they are usually 125 max. Wonder if a stroker crank would work in a 125auto. People are talking about the kickstart lifans being phased out.

no way they can phase them out
so many dirtbikes that run lifan engines that only kickstart

I can see phasing out electric start
just adds more weight and they are so easy to kick over anyways

No, just the semi-auto models. Crappy clutch versions only.
