Just get a trailtech and save yourself from cutting into your box. Or do a gps mount. The only thing a speedo is really there for besides speed is mileage when time comes for inspection.

But that is why I want to keep the speedo. I wear my milage as a badge of honor.
Plus it helps keep oil changes a no brainer.

Thats actually a really good idea! Im a product designer so I should be able to whip something up that would look great and function even better.

Does everyone think there would be a decent market for this?

Thanks!!
Boban

You can mount it to the headlight bracket. There should be a tab on there (think it's got a plastic tie thing for the wires plugged into it) that you can put a little bracket on and the speedo has 2 little threaded nipples on the bottom to bolt down on the bracket. Not sure if it will fit with the goofy rack as mine was cut off.

Thats the piece I was originally looking at but what im thinking is a piece that would not interfere with the handlebar at all.

It would be a much cleaner and integrated look.

Excited about the idea, hopefully will have designs up soon for everyones review.

Thanks!

Do it man. I think it would do well. Just design it for multiple stems, market it in all the noob threads, make sure its an OG design(no one likes a bitter!) Keep the price down for new guys and they will love it. Think about it. Every New Ruck modder want to do seat, floor then bars. They are already on a budget from initial bike purchase and want to roll in style. Everybody goes over this speed bump. Read the Noobs ask questions here first thread and it just comes up over and over. GET lovers can also benefit from sweet speedo mount. I'll take 10% off the top for the idea if it bubbles!!;) JK!

Have to give big thanks to Ryankalani for the inspirational message to get me started on this task :)

Ill give you 10% off the first one made ;)

If anyone has anything they would like to see/recommendations in a speedo mount lemme know and maybe it will make its way into the design.

Thanks!!

Im planning on designing a housing that will incorporate the speedo and turn signal.

Im hopin everyone will like the idea, im lookin forward to getting it fab'd. Probably gonna do some mock ups first and show everyone to see if itd be something people would want.
