I had LEDs under the floorboard of mine for a while. I got a LOT of comments on them.

Bars dont seem to diffuse the light as much as pods.
So instead you see a bar pattern projected.

As an observer, I dont see how this is much/any different than having your bar exposed or visible on the surface.

the pods that dorby uses were made by http://www.xkglow.com/, that much i gathered on a facebook thread. no idea which ones specifically but ya.

i imagine its one of the ones that advertise 180 degrees of lights.

Could you wire them with no switch? I don't mind them running all the time, I'm thinking wire with the running lights (brake light)

I know absolutely nothing about electric

I know this isn't a Ruckus, but this is my other scoot. It's a Genuine Rattler 110 and I've had a LEDGlow underglow kit on it for almost a year now and love it.

Here is the link to the kit: http://www.ledunderbody.com/Advanced-Mi ... g-Kit.aspx

It's pretty awesome because it's alsomst all plug and play wiring so it makes that part pretty easy, and it comes with a remote to turn it on/off, change the color, and patterns. I think I gave $99 for it and am seriously considering buying another kit for my ruck from them.

Here is a link to them in action on my other scoot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tMgiuHz-9Y

Ok so I finally got around to hooking up the under glow kit for the ruck. Ive gotta say, it came out a lot cleaner than my other scoot.

Here's a pic of the flexible LED strips I installed on the underside of the frame of my '13 Met.

I wired them to a rocker switch that's connected to two 9v batteries wired in series tucked in the electronics area in the floor. Works great.

So, uh, its been 4 years since the last post...
I'm trying to find a good option for a battery powered LED kit as to avoid having to do any rewiring.
Who would have thought that the christmas light rope I bought on clearance didn't work!
