Awesome tips on here! I actually went to the meat depatment in the grocery store and checked the color difference. Ah, the tricks of the trade.

I was wondering if anyone on here has tried the Eastwood home powder coating system? It looks like something a noobie like me could tackle.

Here is another site with color samples, and and a shop that does some incredible bicycle powder coat jobs involving multiple colors, fades, custom graphics under the clear coat, etc. They are in Colorado.

I have my exhaust stripped down to nothing.
I want to call the powder coating place and see if they can do a ceramic coating...anyone know?

Most powdercoaters DO NOT do ceramics. Powder does not hold up well past 250 degrees or so. I would look for a Jet Hot Coatings or HPC coatings in your area. And hold onto your wallet!! Costs a lot more than regular powder coating.

There are a few powders that are good to around 1000 degrees. It could be a little less than that. Just not in too many colors.
