just a warning to people: use this as a rough guide only. Each monitor may show the colours slightly different...

Oh and for the "chrome" powdercoat...It needs a top coat because it's not resiliant to UV rays and will yellow without it...But with each top coat it gets darker and darker, and will look more like silver

Yeah guys this is only to give you an idea of colour choices out there - if any of you find any other colour swatches please post them.

Remember to check with your Powder Coater what the actual finshed result will look like - if they are good they should hold samples.

Does anyone know the Ral-number for the Fighting Red, all I can find is the Honda codenumber?

Under the seat, that's the Honda code, I am looking for the RAL color.

Jedisabre: Interglot says: A translation for "matamerism" cannot be found. What in the world do you mean by that? I have never heard of "matamerism"?

In general, metamerism is how surrounding light affects color. That's why they make toothpaste blue, it makes your teeth look less yellow. Or why the butcher puts green around steaks, it makes them look more red. Next time you take a nice looking steak out of the lights they are under at the grocery store look at it again while you are in an aisle. The steak is starting to brown, it's because they used metamerism with lighting and surrounding colors to decieve your eye into thinking that the steak was a beautiful red. Now under yellow lighting you can see it's other color.
You could look at the same magazine under two lights, a yellow and a bright white, and you would SWEAR they were different magazines.

Here is another site with color samples, and also a shop that does some amazing bicycle powder coat jobs involving multiple colors, fades, custom graphics under the clear coat, etc. They are in Colorado.
http://www.spectrumpowderworks.com/spwdesign.php
Also Geekhouse bikes (Boston) has a sublimation process that is able to reproduce any kind of pattern or graphics in powdercoat. It has to be seen to be believed!
