Unlike, HiTech I find the Pirelli SL-26 to work nicely in the rain. I'm
careful with movement and braking no matter the tires in rain or
snow. In fact, I'm EXTREMELY conservative in foul weather. Slow
down and making less aggressive movements is the secret with any
vehicle when it's bad weather.

Tire pressures & speed are also MOST important aspect of driving.

Bringing this back to life like cheezus.

I ran the Schwalbe WeatherMan all last season in The Pacific NW (wet roads 80% during Nov-May.) This after losing grip changing lanes with stock LR kendas. They never failed me. I'll stick with them with all my rides forward.

Stickiest tire I ever had in the 250 was the Pirelli SL-26 , awesome tire, but short life, overall cost-performance ratio I give it a 8 , would definetly use it again, best overall was the Michelin Gold Standard , now discontinued.

With the 600cc motor , the only tire that feels stable without slipping out in a corner is the OEM tire , Canada was the Bridgestone Hoop, USA was IRC equivalent

:canuck:

I've heard ppl swear by the SL-26 -- Version 2.0 here in PDX loves them. I think that's what I'll be using for my "summer" riding next rubber I purchase.
