Post subject: Where is the battery on the SH 150i located at??

Like I asked.
Been searching online and can't find if its easy or hard to get to.
I've got a chance to pic up a fixer upper with a dead battery.
I'm planning on jump starting it and didn't know what tools I'd need to bring along to access the battery.
Any clue?

bump!

After some searching it appears that it is under the seat via an access panel secured with 2 screws. And it lays on its side..
If I ever get a chance to view this elusive bargain, I'll plan on a few hand tools and allen wrenchs

That sounds a lot like the PCX.

In the PCX, there is one plastic philips screw that holds the door shut. Then there is a rubber strap (that holds the battery still) that unhooks. Then of course the battery terminals.

I know this is an old thread, but since I have a 2010 Sh150i, I thought I'd chime in. The battery is under the floorboard (under the feet) where the gas tank would be on a Ruck.

I don't know about the newer models, but that's where it is in a 2010 Sh150i which is the one that was sold in the US.
