Post subject: CLOUD 9 SPRINGER seat base - NOW SHIPPING - page #2 Posted: Fri Oct 30, 2009 5:06 pm |

SOLD OUTThanks guys. Only eight on the planet. Enjoy. We (I) opened our mouth on pricing without having a solid figure, so I'm sticking with the stated price on the first five units, @ $375 + $15 shipping to the US 48. After this initial run has been sold, pricing will be $385 raw, and $425 hard anodized. Currently, we have two red shock springs, and three black springs. Those go on a first come, first choose basis. About the base... I'm very pleased with the finished product. It's a very solid unit w/ tight tolerences and little play. It's nearly as low as a typical low seat frame (keep in mind the rear sinks a bit when you're on it), is an inch farther back than mt Bowls lowered seat, and has a great feel. The spring itself offers a very wide range of pre-load, and at my 190lbs., can go from easily bottomed, to stiff enough not to move at all. The anodizing is a "clear" hard aonidize, which is far more durable than a cosmetic anodize, and produces a deep charcoal shade. All hardware is stainless. For those who want to dig through the developement info, it's here... viewtopic.php?f=124&t=37656&start=0Here's our most recent pics..

That's hawt looking. Wish it moved the seat back more though, because looking at it I bet that seat would be a god send for my bad lower back, but being 6ft I need more length, as it is I have to sit on the support bar to be comfortable.
GL on selling these, they look beautifully crafted and very well engineered. It's awesome to see this level of innovation & creativity in our scene

It's awesome to see this level of innovation & creativity in our scene I just took some measures against my Bowls lowered seat frame. Compared to the Bowl's piece, it's 1/2" higher, and a full inch farther back. I would guess that makes it's as far back as any frame out there... I'm 6'2", and find it pretty cozy. I think the absence of the grab handle makes it look more forward in the pics. Thanks for the complients. Greg

Feel free to go ahead and send a payment to mnnthbx@hotmail.com if you want to assure the black spring (make sure to include your screen name and black spring in the PayPal note), or feel free wait also. What ever works best for you. Either way, thanks for your business and input. Greg
