the stock ruck battery is the same used on the 600's so it should be fine. 12v dc 120amp

I thought the battery for the Ruckus is a YTZ7S not a YTX7A-BS? I have a 180BB, which battery is the correct one I should order?

It was a sunl that is swapped to a ruck but the ruck was bought wrecked so the entire harness is sunl and the ruck battery box was no good (did not come with battery). So we want to know what to buy for the sunl engine and then we will fab a box for it.

You might be better off going to scooterdawg or whatever it's called for your answer they deal more with the chinese bikes, most of those that swap retain stock ruckus battery with swaps and have no issues.

The stock one for Ruckus is. Stock for gy6 150 is YTX7A-BS which has a 7 amp rating vs the 4 amp Ruck battery. Get the stock battery for gy6 to be safe, a wet cell should only run you around 50 or 60 bones. It would be a lot better than buying a ruckus battery, filling it, not having enough power for your specific application, and not being able to return it.

Ok I was checking out Batterystuff.com and spoke with a guy from their tech dept who said if I could fit a YTX7A-BS battery in my scooter then the YTZ10S battery was a better choice since it has more power and would be a better battery as it is the same size as the YTX7A-BS battery but just a better battery.

Will the YTZ10Sbattery (YTX7A-BS) FIT in the stock Ruckus location or am I going to have fitment problems here?? :?:

Thanks!

Too lazy to remove the 6 screws to take the measurement and put them back. Especially since my cordless drill died
Kidding, will probaly pull apart today to measure, but would like to hear comments on people's experiences with fitment.

oh yes, you must use a drill to take off the batt box
make sure you use an air impact on the battery terminals too

You can try a PC130 (or similar size), which requires a good deal of cutting, drilling, moving things around, or you can try some of the new LiFe packs some people are using. They're pricey, but the reviews seem to be pretty good.

I don't think you can buy one..... you have to modify your existing one to make it fit. :)
