I rode all day today on a new 2012 all stock with a SS Yosh and KN filters, and the J,costa. Serveral times with a slight down hill, I could bury the speedo farther than I ever have before and was NOT on the rev limiter. Doing about 42-45 at best on long flats roughly, I'm just going off the stock speedo. The owner of the bike said he loves it. I'm going to try it out in a few more bikes with different set-ups and riders and try to get them to give me some reviews as well. Not sure if were going to ask them to make any changes or not, seems pretty good so far!

J'costa is on Holiday until Sept 3rd. So I'm waiting for them to get back to me on whether or not there will be more development or if this is the full production model I'll be selling.

On another testing note, had 2 more people try it out on their own bikes. The first is a super light weight girl with an already very well tuned bike. She didn't really have anything good to say about it but I think that has more to do with her bike already being dialed in for the parts she currently has. The second rider, mostly stock 04 ruckus, said he's never been able to reach those speeds before, but the lowend wasn't great for a bigger rider. I think both of these bikes have light flywheels (the girls bike has one for sure) and that may not be the best combo for this variator.

Right now the proto-type is sitting on my work bench waiting for the next (locals only, I'm not sending this anywhere) person to try it out.

If so, please let me know. Thanks.

I buy stuff from webike too. And yes in the last year.

I know Corsport looks like a big company online, Webike looks GIGANTIC. I wonder how many employees they have or if its like us? Were at 4 employees right now give or take the other mechanic that only works when he has work to do.

Oh OK. Yeah I guess my buddy who tried to buy from WeBike just happened to order all the rarities they didnt have in stock nor carry any longer. I think no matter how big the company, they should try to have at least one designated dude on web site product updating. Looks pretty unprofessional when a first time buyer clicks on an item and it doesnt say "out of stock", but goes directly into the shopping cart. Then makes it all the way to PayPal and 2 days later the order is canceled and refunded. :ucrazy: I guess my personal standards are higher than some large companies. :meh: I think I would probably have to be backed into a corner pretty tight to order from them in the future.
Cant be that fuckin hard to update tho. But like comedian Ron White said, "you cant fix stupid".

Yeah I hear ya. The worst part about buying from we bike is that if one item is out of stock, they tend to cancel to whole order rather than communicate. I assume thats because they can only speak so many languages and they sell/ship to just about everywhere. I know from experience, good stuff is hard to keep in stock. Cheap stuff is even harder! :wasted:

Buggy Depot will sue you if you don't like their products/service which are made by 10 year old asian boys in sweatshops.

<<Patrick

I haven't dealt with the car forums in while. Used to be on a lot when we had corforums back in the day as Blackout. Remy is leaving, so I'll be taking over a big part of his job with more hours and doing alot more of the sales side. It'll be Tai and I running things now until we decide to bring in a new sales guy. Things have been going great although this is the slow period for cars, scooter parts always sell.
