I'm pretty happy with my Polini, but good to know you can still find them somewhere. My buddy ordered his from battlescooter 2010ish and it has served him well since.

I bought my bike with a KN and I love the low end acceleration. Gets me going quickly, but I'm topping out at 40-41 on flats. Probably all in the tuning jets/weights.

67 pages Phew! That was some great summer reading. I just bought a brand new 2015 Ruckus and I think I'm in love.

After trying to enlighten myself on which variator I should get I landed on the KN. I live in Southern California and was looking for a bit more ompf to get me up the mesa hills. If I had been more patient and waited to the end of the thread to buy I would have probably gone with the NR Magic. I still may pick one up if funds allow because trial and error is the key to success!

So here is my question:
The KN variator arrived from wetbike today and I noticed a small nick/scratch on the surface of the variator  . It's hard to see in the pictures, but you can kinda fit a fingernail in it. Is this something I should be worried about before installing? Has anyone seen anything like this? Has anyone tried to deal with wetbike customer support for RMA's?

Go over it with some wet 800-1500 if it has any raise that will catch, otherwise it will be fine.

KN926 make some really cool stuff and are really big in the Japanese drag scene.

How low/high are you guys getting your stock/daytona etc belts to sit? Can you get slightly longer ones? I'm new to GET motor, I come from 4VP etc.
