you guys havent even understood it to mod it. its not stated clear here. I made a picture, i put some big ol' x ex' es you see that? X a letter x put that there, where i was making points. drawing attention to it. how can you repeat what i say then not get the point i made about

.. FIG2 of the drawing could also represent a loose belt from either the width worn from riding, usually, or the length being too long, from not accurate belt makers. like gates for one for example.

if you guys are goign to take a.. variable such as a worn out, not reliable accurate made belt like a gates, or anything the length is longer on, and throw it into yoru results and not keep tabs on it, then this whole, experiment might as well go with the rest of the important information what you do with it. too. out.

Not this Chump again. Where are the Mod's when we need them!!!

CONELITE- Mod 2015!!!

Everything he posts seems condescending.. I'd hate to meet him in person....

GET about 1,500 miles on these sliders, any idea what's up with the indent/worn spot, or if it will effect the performance?

What variator ?

I'll usually change sliders with belt ~1000-1200mi.

I haven't seen that. Is there anything strange on the backing plate of your variator that might explain it? (though I don't know how that particular kind of wear could be made...)

I don't think that it will affect performance unless there is something funny in the variator that prevents the slider from moving outward. That surface pushes against the backing plate and it doesn't appear to be worn in such a way that it is "shorter" than when it was new.

(I use sliders for longer than 1200 miles, but I haven't really paid attention to how long...I've been switching them in and out trying to GET my tuning right...)

I agree with P-Dub, I've never seen wear like that, and can't really figure out how that could even happen. Maybe if the variator and backing plate are mismatched? :meh:
