Any cam is kind of a waste of time IMO if you dont have a ported head and upgraded stock carb, or aftermarket carb.

If your mildly stock, Cam is not for you. Good chance you will still have issues with valve float unless MNNTHBX did something about that.

I've upgraded a lot so far, just looking to BBB, upgrade carb, and cam.

What kind of speeds are you achieving now?

DCR Never addressed the only issue people get with cam. Valve float.

Haven't been able to check that quite yet. Only rode a couple times since considering the spring weather out here is bipolar. I need to ride with my GPS. Speedo is burried. Haven't got a trailtech on this ruck yet either so lots of fine tuning left to do.

Our proven experience is this. The cam builds great midrange power w/ only an intake, exhaust, and proper jetting on the stock carb. None of our motors are wildly aggressive, and we've used these cams often, always with great results. We have also NEVER had ANY issue with valve float, running the Dynatek +800 RPM rev box.

Is that with a good amount of miles? 2k+ miles? You dont get valve issues right away.

Yeah, bikes from 1000-5000ish. We just had zero bad experiences, which is a good thing. On the down side, it will be quiet a while before we get more cams... BTW, are you coming to the Crawl?

These are all but impossible to get, and we just received (1) new cam, available here, while it lasts...
