Have you ever Dyno plotted a stock cam vs yours? I'm interested in the curve differences because I know that a stock motor will continue to make enough power to push forward upwards to 10k (not saying it's still making power) if this cam increases power under the curve and even raises peak it would be nice to know where it's designed to peak so those tuning can get the full effect of the cam

I dont have access to a dyno small enough to be able to do that on a Ruckus.

That being said the peak power curve is best kept in the 8000 to 9500 range. I really dont like to rev the motors higher than that. The only reason people rev them higher is to get more MPH. If you need more MPH it makes way more sense to install a gear set and then retune your rollers to gain back some low end acceleration.
It not worth wringing the engines neck just to get a couple more MPH out of it that way.

I agree, I was just noting that even the stock cam still makes enough power into the 10k range to continue accelerating

I've saw an HO cam in action so I know getting more power out of the head is feasable, I'm just curious where it makes the power so the potential tuner (I'm considering purchasing a cam) could work with that rpm

How do you decide the increase in lift and duration over a stock cam? Do you figure x more lift and x more duration and overlap would, in theory net more gains?

I'm not trying to come off like a ass, just curious how you decide what lift/duration is working best with the engine

I have a couple programs that determine lift and duration, as well as some key "friends" in the industry that help tremendously, also using the other cam that was available for the Ruckus to gauge as well. I tried to improve as much as possible on the current cam that was available at the time as well as making it as affordable as I could at the same time.

What are the advantages of your hollowed camshaft vs your non-hollowed?

Noob lookin for power

probably not as much tick and not as much valve float

I had quite a few people asking me for them so I put up the option. It basically just lightens the valvetrain further increasing RPM's a little and freeing it up.

How much more lift/duration on yours vs stock? I'm going to be doing something cam related soon. Before I pull the trigger though I need to know what's up. Perhaps you can send one to JamesDean since he does have a dyno and is currently doing testing.
