Does the difference in the size of the carbs seem to make a difference in performance?

I haven't done enough testing to confirm or deny that yet. Although it probably won't make much of a difference unless you have a fully built engine. Even then it may be miniscule. Once I get some more Keihins I will be putting one on my bike along with one of the new manifolds ( I am still currently running one of the old ones, before they were cast)

I will most likely extend it till Christmas. I had got a shipment of half the Keihins I ordered and most of them sold out with pre-orders people were placing. I expect more in soon but I don't have an exact date. PM'ed you.

Just asking but would you be interested in installing and tuning the carb on my scoot? Just a question, I installed the pipe and variator now seems as if it takes off fine then hesitates and rolls out. Do you think the bigger carb would make this better? And fix the problem. Did notice a faster take off speed with the variator.

Yeah I can do that for you. Give me a shout tomorrow if you get a chance and we can discuss.

Excuse my PC20 dumbassness but I just got my carb kit in the mail and I've been sitting here looking at this hose coming out of the side of it right next to where the fuel line connects trying to figure out what it could be for. :? ?? What exactly is that?

BTW fast shipping and the kit looks great! Thanks JC

Overflow Line? I believe that is what you are talking about.

The black hose running from the side. This is an overflow hose for the gas? So what do I do with it just let it run strait down and hang there??

I've searched for pics of this carb installed on other rucks but I haven't seen this hose on any of them...here's a pic of the hose I'm talking about..

do you get the throttle cables custom made for you? If so could you get one done 10" longer than you normally would. I have ape hangers on with a 16" rise and it's a long pain in the butt to get custom cables made.
