Guidelines:
Use the product name for the thread title.
The review has to be at least two paragraph long, be interesting and informative to read, and related to the scene, don't do a review on Wallmart or how you hate Verizon. No drive by reviews, no lazy three line long reviews. Include details like price, shipping, availability, anything that a person looking to buy this product would find useful.
Include at least one good picture of the product taken by you that clearly shows the product being reviewed.
Pro and Con breakdown at the end.
You cannot do a review if you sell or are involved financially with the product being reviewed, but you can answer questions.
Absolutely no threadjacking, pornography or any sort of douchbagery, questions and answers must be on point.
Check for an existing product review before starting a new one. Additional reviews for the same product from other members should be added to the existing one and follow the same guideline as above.
Reviews that do not meet the above requirements will get deleted. We want the section to be helpful for users researching products.

Post subject: Composimo gy6 fatty mount
PostPosted: Sun Mar 24, 2013 10:39 pm
I know this is my first post here but I thought I would vent real quick. Contacted composimo to get gy6 fatty mount and realized they sold nothing but billet mounts now instead of black ones. They said they could send me a black one I just had to send funds via PayPal so they gave me 20 bucks off. I ordered it and couple days later they apologized cause they had to powdercoat the mount. I was actually happy that it was gonna be a fresh powder job but when I opened the package I noticed the main motor mount and suspension mount were both black but the small bracket and alignment stem were polished???? Kind of upset dropping 360 for a mount that isn't what you ordered, now I'm gonna have to spray it black. Product definitely quality but not sure why not all parts powdered.

Rant done
Apologize for run on sentences, posting from iphone

If you had contacted me prior to posting this, you would have found out that those two pieces are from the set that we send out with the Billet Modular mounts... Those parts are now Stainless Steel instead of regular steel... therefore it doesn't NEED to be powder coated, and many people who i've talked to liked that those particular parts could be polished up really nice and made to look good and shiny, especially since they are both rather visible parts.

I'm sorry that you feel that i've done wrong somehow... A simple email or phone call could have eased your worry about why those particular parts weren't powdered.

On the bright side, the Stainless is a much nicer and higher quality material. Its twice as expensive to have made, but i'm using that because i want a better product overall. So in essense, you got a much nicer kit than you normally would have, and i gave you a discount on it.

:highfive:

All that being said, if you send the parts back, i'd be happy to powder them to match the kit for you at no cost, and i'll cover the return shipping as well.

I didn't intend for post to be super negative, I apologize for that. I posted this in product review because it was a review for what was received. Picture for that kit showed black and my color scheme matched it that is why i was excited they had some still. As said above product is super quality and thank you for clarifying it being part of new series.

Can't say it enough QUALITY......
Not looking to get bashed on here, I did research that's why I purchased from composimo and placed another order for more stuff

Thanks for the offer on helping powdercoat
